Ingredient Description
Chicken Meal A highly concentrated, dried product made from chicken (flesh and skin), preserved naturally and containing 5% moisture and 70% protein. Chicken meal helps maintain a high inclusion of meat content in our formulations.
Herring Meal A highly concentrated, dried product made from herring that provides an excellent source of protein and Omega 3 fatty acids that contain Vitamin D, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, calcium, magnesium, niacin, phosphorus and selenium.
Brown Rice Complex carbohydrate source that provides an excellent source of energy, fiber, vitamins and minerals.
Pearled Barley Dehulled or pearled barley is a good source of carbohydrate energy, B vitamins, and insoluble fiber associated with colon health. It is also an excellent source of soluble fiber that has been shown to help lower cholesterol levels.
Oat Groats Oats are an excellent grain that are relatively high in protein and fat (provides oliec and linoliec acids). Oats contain vitamins B, A, K and E. They also contain valuable minerals, micronutrients, antioxidants and sterols, all of which play an important role in maintaining health.
Chicken Fat Provides a good source of essential fatty acids, an excellent source of energy and increases recipe palatability. Our chicken fat is naturally preserved with mixed tocopherols, a natural source of Vitamin E.
Potato Meal Potatoes are complex carbohydrate that provide an excellent source of energy. Potatoes provide B vitamins, zinc, vitamin C, copper, iron, magnesium, niacin and potassium.
Dried Beet Pulp This sugar free, highly fibrous vegetable derivative, supports gut health via fueling ‘good’ gut bacteria which ultimately improves nutrient digestion, stool frequency and consistency.
Alfalfa Meal A concentrated source of Alfalfa, are rich in natural fiber, provide a good source of calcium, vitamins and carotene. They also increase palatability of the recipe.
Flaxseed Contain high levels of alpha-linolenic acid (Omega 3 fatty acids) and provide natural fiber to aid digestion and maintain good stool consistency. Used to help balance our optimal Omega 6 to Omega 3 fatty acid ratio.
Dried Egg A complete protein source, containing all essential amino acids often referred to as the “perfect protein source”. They are the highest bioavailable (high digestibility) protein source available and provide numerous other health benefits including Vitamin D which promote strong and healthy bones.
Brewer’s Yeast A naturally rich source of B-vitamins. It is a probiotic that secretes beneficial digestive enzymes to aid digestion and enhance the immune system. It is also provides Mannan Oligosaccharides to promote a healthy, intestinal microflora population
Calcium Propionate Calcium propionate is an organic salt that helps preserve food by interfering with the ability of microorganisms, such as molds and bacteria, to reproduce.
Sodium Chloride Helps maintains the balance of fluids surrounding the body’s cells. A balanced amount helps maintain proper cell structure that is necessary for proper nerve and muscle function.
Choline Chloride A source of choline which is in the B-vitamin family. It helps protect the liver and kidneys and is important for energy metabolism and proper nervous tissue function.
Fish Oil A source of long-chain Omega 3 fatty acids (DHA/EPA). In addition to maintaining the proper ratio between Omega 3 & Omega 6, Fish Oil provides many health and anti-inflammatory properties for the overall health and well-being of your pet.
Yucca Schidigera A natural anti-inflammatory, a good source of minerals & vitamins, and used to help reduce stool and urine odours.
Chicory Root Provides a natural source of polysaccharide inulin. Inulin is a soluble fiber which serves as a prebiotic for promoting beneficial microflora (good bacteria). It also provides a natural source of Vitamin C.
Mannan Oligosaccharides (MOS) They help stimulate disease fighting white blood cells to fight common pathogens (bad bacteria and viruses). It helps maintain a healthy digestive tract by protecting against inflammation and infection.
Chondroitin Sulfate This naturally occuring compound has been seen to support bone and joint health which is esecially important in geriatric and large breed canines.
Glucosamine Hydrochloride Organic supplement that reduces cartilage inflammation, increases joint lubrication and slows degenerative side-effects of aging. The combination of glucosamine and chondroitin helps with the efficacy of each component.
Potassium Chloride Provides a source of potassium as a salt replacement while still enhancing flavour.
Peas A great source of vitamins (A, K, B) and minerals (iron, zinc, potassium, magnesium), these small round fibrous vegetables are also rich in plant-based protein and antioxidants.
Garbanzo Beans This high fiber plant-based protein source reduces the risk of chronic illnesses including heart disease, cancer and diabetes when consumed regularly. The high fiber content of garbanzo beans aids in gut health by fueling good bacteria on the intestinal lining. Dried Lactobacillus Acidophilus This probiotic has clinically exhibited protective effects against the zoonotic parasitic disease, Trichinellosis, caused by the nematode T. spiralis.
Dried Lactobacillus Casei This probiotic has been clinically effective in stimulating immune protein support via regulating canine gut microbiota and maintaining this across all life stages.
Dried Bifidobacterium Thermophilum This probiotic has clinically exhibited protective effects against S. typhimurium and Clostridia, speficially Clostridium difficile in canines.
Dried Enterococcus Faecium This probiotics has clinically exhibited protective effects against E.coli, Salmonellae, Shigellae and Clostridia during the primary stage of your pups life while also enhancing long-term immune function.

Oregano An aromatic herb that has many medicinal benefits due to its potent antioxidants and anti-bacterial properties.
Cinnamon A tasty spice that is known to support a calm and balanced digestive tract. The essential oils are also recognized for having medicinal properties such as anti-microbial activity and helping regulate blood sugar levels.
Rosemary Extract This extract (not to be confused with the oil) is a concentrated derivative of the herb, well known for it’s properties as a powerful antioxidant, antidiabetic, anticancer, nontoxigenic and antimicrobial agent.
