When will I get my order?
Orders placed before 2:00 pm on business days (Mon-Fri) are shipped the same day! Orders placed after 2:00 pm or on weekends/holidays are shipped the next business day. We ask customers to allow 2-4 business days for delivery (to most locations). You will get an email with tracking information. This will show your estimated delivery date.
**Shipping fees may be applicable in certain areas. Shipping rates are not displayed at check out. If shipping fees apply, you will be contacted within 1 business day with a shipping quote**
Do I have to have to be home to sign for delivery?
If you are not home at time of deliverry, the driver will leave your order at your door. No signature required.
You will get an email with tracking information. Please keep an eye on the tracking information to ensure you get the order inside at your eariest convenience.
When do I transition my puppy to adult food?
Trasition guidelines suggest the following:
Small dog breeds (up to 20-25 pounds when full grown) – 12 to14 months
Medium dog breeds (typcially 25-55-lbs when full grown) – 10 to 12 months
Large dog breeds (typcially55-100-lbs when full grown) – 6 to 12 months
Giant dog breeds (80+ lbs when full grown) – 4 to 8 months
Note: we recommend transitioning gradually to All Life Stage dog food. See transition guidelines below.
How do I transition my pet to 4 Strong Paws Pet Food?
Start by mixing 25% of 4 Strong Paws with 75% of your existing food and continue to increase the proportions (25% for 2-3 days, 50% for 2-3 days, 75% for 2-3 days, 100% switch over). A good transition takes about 7-10 days.
How much should I feed my dog?
While there are guidelines on the 4 Strong Paws food bags, we always suggest using the online feeding calculator! This calculator is able to give you a more specific amount customized to your furry friend!
Do you have formulas for specific breeds?
No, we believe all breeds deserve proven ingredients, that provide a well-ballanced, nutritional diet!

Once the returned product is received, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued. Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs.

How long does the food stay fresh?
4 Strong Paws makes the food in small batches every 4-6 weeks. We ship directly to customers so the food is extremely fresh when it arrives. The dog food has a 12-month shelf life and will remain fresh if stored in a cool, dry location (due not expose to sunlight).
How should I store my pet food?
To keep the food fresh, it’s best to store the food in the original resealable bag. The bag can be placed in an airtight container. Keep air and moisture away from the food. Store in a cool, dry area.
